How will the seat selection process work?
The first step will be to freeze all men’s basketball season ticket holder’s CAF priority points on February 1, 2010. Then you will be ranked according to your priority point total. Once ranked, you will be given a specific date and time in the spring of 2010 which you will use to choose your seats in the Downtown Arena.
When will this process take place?
We will freeze all CAF priority points on February 1, 2010. The seat selection process will take place after that beginning in April 2010..
What is the process if I want to sit with other friends or family members? Will I be able to do this?

What is the process for getting additional tickets in the Downtown Arena?
At this time we are ensuring that everyone in Freedom Hall will be guaranteed the same number of seats they currently have.
I don’t currently have tickets in Freedom Hall but would like to get some in the Downtown Arena. What is the process?
There are two ways to get seats in the Downtown Arena if you don’t currently have them in Freedom Hall. One way is to participate in the Premium Seat Package which guarantees you seats in the Downtown Arena based on the option you choose. This is the best way to ensure premier seats in both the Downtown Arena and the expansion to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
You can also submit a men’s basketball seat request. These forms will be prioritized by CAF priority points and will be accommodated accordingly. If you do not have CAF priority points, you should consider joining the CAF now so you have time to build your points between now and 2010.
What can I do between now and 2010 to help with my seat location in the Downtown Arena?
The best thing to do is to know your CAF priority points and ranking. Everyone who is ahead of you on the ranking scale will get to choose their seats before you. In order for you to have the best options of seats to choose from, you will want to be as high as possible in the ranking. You increase your ranking by increasing the number of priority points you have.
How do I accumulate additional priority points?
The fastest way to accumulate CAF priority points is to make a gift to Cardinal Athletics. All gifts are tax deductible. You receive one priority point for every $100 donated. For example, a gift of $10,000 gives you 100 points. Priority points can also be accumulated in the following ways:
- One point for each year a donation is made
- One point for each year in which football season tickets are purchased
- One point for each year in which basketball season tickets are purchased
- Two points for each year in which season tickets are purchased for women’s basketball, volleyball or soccer
- One point for signing up a new Cardinal Athletic Fund member
