Women’s Basketball Tickets
1. I currently have women’s basketball season tickets in Freedom Hall. Will I be eligible for tickets in the Downtown Arena?
Yes, all season ticket holders are eligible to get the same number of seats in the new Downtown Arena. If you are interested in obtaining additional seats for women’s basketball, you will be able to select those at your seat selection time.
2. Will the location of my seats in the Downtown Arena be the same as in Freedom Hall?
If you purchase a family plan, your seats will be assigned in Sections 103, 104, 108, 109, 113, 114, 118 or 119. All other season ticket holders will be able to select their seats in the summer based on their priority point total.
3. Will there be annual donations associated with seats in the Downtown Arena?
The club seats located in the middle sideline sections as well as several rows in Sections 105, 107, 115 and 117 will required a $50/seat donation.
4. How will the location of my seats be determined?
You will choose the location of your seats based on your CAF priority points and ranking.
5. How will the seat selection process work?
The first step will be to freeze all women’s basketball season ticket holder’s CAF priority points on April 15, 2010. Then you will be ranked according to your priority point total. Once ranked, you will be given a specific date and time in the summer of 2010 which you will use to choose your seats in the Downtown Arena. Family plans seats will be assigned.
6. What is the process if I want to sit with other friends or family members? Will I be able to do this?
Yes, you are able to sit next to your friends and/or family. You will choose seats based on the average CAF priority point total of all people in the group. These requests need to be submitted by April 15, 2010. You can access this form here.
7. What if I want to pick my seats instead of being assigned in the family plan areas?
If you are interested in purchasing individual seats instead of the family plan, please submit that request to the ticket office via email at ticketoffice@louisville.edu.
8. What is the process for getting additional tickets in the Downtown Arena?
You will be able to select additional seats at your seat selection time.
9. How do I accumulate additional priority points?
The fastest way to accumulate CAF priority points is to make a gift to Cardinal Athletics. All gifts are tax deductible. You receive one priority point for every $100 donated. For example, a gift of $10,000 gives you 100 points. Donations must be in hand at the Cardinal Athletic Fund before 5:00 PM on April 15, 2010 to be counted towards your point total used to select Women’s Basketball seats.
